The Max is a stereo speaker now unlike the X-minis which were just mono. It also comes with retractable cables now which are real useful I feel. Just try not to pull too hard on them as they are not too sturdy. You also get a nice little pouch to keep everything. The plain construction of the dome-shaped X-Mini capsule speaker signals comfort in daily use.

The functional design of the portable stereo speakers is aesthetic and innovative. When operating the speaker, the user separates the two halves held together by magnets. Then he slightly rotates each capsule while pulling it apart so as to provide additional resonance space for full-spectrum sound with powerful bass.
